Growing Through Change, Grounded in Purpose | June 2026
A Message From Our Team
This quarter felt like a chapter with its own distinct rhythm. We said a warm welcome to new faces - and bid a heartfelt farewell to a colleague whose contribution to ODA will not be forgotten. In between, our teams quietly pushed boundaries, tried approaches we had not tried before, and showed up for the communities. Welcoming New Staffs At Oda
We warmly welcomed three new faces to the Oda family this quarter whose skills and commitment will strengthen our work across programs and communities.Quarter Highlights
HEALTH

On June 1–2, 2026, Oda Foundation organized a two-day Specialist Health Camp in collaboration with Mahawai Basic Hospital/Mahawai Rural Municipality, and support of Doctors for Nepal (DFN). The health camp brought four specialists - including a Gynecologist, Orthopedic, Dentist, and General Physician directly to the community offering free consultations, screenings, and health education. The training marked first step in addressing the gap in children's social and emotional development in remote communities like Kalikot - grounded in the belief that change begins with those who care for children every day.AGROECOLOGY
Agroecological Practices in Paddy Cropping Systems
For the first time at Oda, a three-day training on Agroecological Practices in Paddy Cropping Systems was conducted for staff, community volunteers, and lead farmers, supported by Fastenaktion. Participants explored sustainable paddy cultivation practices hands-on, including land preparation for azolla cultivation, a natural soil enricher that reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers.
