In one of the most under-resourced and overlooked areas of the world, local leaders believe their community deserves every chance to live, and to thrive.

In a week at Oda Foundation…
A woman with high blood pressure has a safe, warm place to give birth. An infection does not become an amputation. After meeting with the Education Team, some parents decide to keep their girls in school. That girl can go to school on her period and have a safe bathroom. Neighboring district teachers walk four hours round trip for an Oda Foundation training. Women go to work and have their own bank accounts, and own their houses, for the very first times. Women help make jobs for other women. Step-by-step, the world is better, for the long-term.
