Journey Highlights

Step into daily life in Karnali, get fitted for a Nepali outfit at a local tailor's shop in Surkhet Bazaar, cook up traditional dishes, spend time with students and let the evening carry you into music and dance with the community.
The journey to Karnali itself is an experience, as you wind alongside the Karnali River beneath dramatic Himalayan foothills. Every day you'll wake up among the hills to the sound of birds, animals, and community; a rhythm far removed from the pace of everyday life back home.
You won't be traveling alone, a small, close-knit group and experienced program staff will be with you every step of the way.
